Art workshop – 5 days (6 hrs per day) – English
Monday 15th to Friday 19th of August 2016 9:30 to 17:00 (including 1,5 hrs lunch break)
This workshop led by professional French painter Héloïse Delègue is aimed at students wanting to explore mark-making, abstract art and painting/ drawing/ collage in an experimental, supportive environment.
It will be held in her studio at Ringön in Gothenburg. Short distance walk from Frihamnens tram-stop.
No previous experience needed just a willingness to explore and be surprised. In this workshop, various exercises aimed at loosening and relaxing the expression will be used.
The aim of this workshop is to start a creative process, helping students to learn how to research and what inspiration means, as well as the importance of looking and seeing. It also aims at exploring what it means to make abstract art, why it is a valuable thing to do and how it can benefit one´s own everyday life as a form of meditation.

A suggested list of materials needed for the workshop will be provided. Total cost of the materials will be approximately 500 SEK.
