The Lampent project started in 2011 as an attempt to explore the interaction of certain interesting materials with light and experiment with the usage and functionality of every-day life objects. The aim is to combine different upcycled objects together in a minimal and simple way by making use of their unique shapes or properties. The end product is a serie of handmade lamps designed with the purpose to add a special character in different kinds of interiors. Most of the lamps are unique, though some of them are repeatable by order. All lamps are designed and constructed by Stavros Kotsakis, who is a production engineer, currently living in Gothenburg.
