Anja Bache - Art as a tool

At the open lecture at the University of Gothenburg, HDK, Anja Bache will present selected art works primarily in public spaces as a tool for investigating and orient herself and she will talk about new ceramic technology she has engineered for large scale bendable and kissable facades. We will visit Beijing China, Ny USA and Copenhagen Denmark amongst other places.

Anja Margrethe Bache is a Danish mixed media Installation artist, with specific focus at ceramic installations. She holds a MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Visual Arts, Ph.D. in Architecture and a Master of Science Engineer. Her artwork, research and design are a combination of those skills.

Anja is Adjunct Professor at HDK in ceramic Art, she has been at Alfred University invited by New York State College of Ceramic Art in an International Theodore Randall Chair in ceramic arts and Craft, at Oslo national Academy of Fine arts in ceramic art as associate Professor in ceramic arts and craft as well Associate professor at The Technical University of Denmark at the section of building Design.
