Video Production and Social Media Manager

The award of 1 million SEK has been presented yearly since 2000 in Gothenburg, Sweden. The award is a non-profit organisation financed by members who, like us, are committed to creating a better future. The winners are appointed by an independent jury containing members with diverse backgrounds within academia, politics and civil society. The Global Goals is our guide in the selection of a yearly theme, which 2023 is "Fighting Disinformation".
Do you want to join us in our most exciting times and be at the core of the modern sustainability movement? We are currently seeking a skilled and creative Video Production and Social Media Manager to join our team. This is a part-time position (50%) from 18 September to 31 October. The position is ideally suited for a junior person with a passion for video production and social media and who is looking to gain hands-on experience in these areas.
Responsibilities:
- Create and edit video content for different platforms.
- Update social media with content from our activities across all channels (Linkedin, Instagram, Facebook and Website).
- Work on-site during the award week and at our annual award ceremony to capture content and update social media.
Requirements:
- Experience with video production and editing software
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines The position is on-site in Gothenburg.
