Urban Lunch-time: Research in Reality

Tourist travel, craft production and energy savings

PhD students from Gothenburg and Kisumu universities run joint design projects on eco-tourism and marketplaces in Dunga Beach. Dunga is a small fishing community at Lake Victoria, close to Kisumu, Kenya. These projects are run within the Mistra Urban Futures organisation. The experimental pilot projects concerns urban development and empowerment in reality. At the seminar the projects, including objectives, set up and results will be presented.
